14 December 2015
As part of a yearly tradition, students worked together in homerooms to provide gifts for children in need. Each homeroom adopted a child as part of our Advent service project. Students donated their own money and shopped for the gifts. Student shoppers chose items off of the child’s wish list. Central Catholic High School provided gifts for 15 children through the 18th street center’s program. Gifts will be delivered to Catholic Charities to be used for children to brighten their Christmas.
If our students have inspired you — it’s not too late! The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, the 18th St. Center, and many other non-profits are still accepting gifts! Get involved and help make this Christmas a little brighter for someone else.
