I have a long, wonderful history with Central.  As a Marist Brother, I began teaching math here in the school year 1959-60 and continued to do so for several years.  For the last eight years, I have been the Designated Pastor for Central.  Today, Central continues to be a wonderful school.  It is strong academically and athletically.   It has a competent and dedicated faculty and administration.  The young men and women who attend Central, are delightful, generous and wholesome.  The school is truly Catholic – Christian values, relationship with God, concern for one another, outreach to those who are in need are clearly in evidence.  The spiritual heritage of the Marist Brothers and the Sisters of St. Joseph still flows through the halls of Central.  I strongly recommend Wheeling Central Catholic High School to those who want a strong academic and value-centered education.
