Building Strong Communicators, Thinkers, and Writers

At Central Catholic High School, we believe that the instruction of English is not something to be endured but, rather, embraced! We are blessed with faculty whose goal is not only to educate each student in the content but also to instill a passion for the curriculum that will guide the individual throughout high school and into future endeavors.

Moreover, a team approach assures a seamless transition from one year to the next. The English department, following a solid tradition of Christian teaching, endeavors to instruct each student in reading, writing, and speaking with the goal that continuing improvement in these areas will enhance a person’s social relations and responsibilities; an individual’s Christian attitude, communication, and behavior; and a learner’s confidence in knowledge of and faith in himself, God, and God’s plan for mankind.
