4 Credits Needed for Graduation
Unlocking Curiosity in the Scientific World
Science education at CCHS is framed around enduring understandings, essential questions, and active learning. All students learn and practice observing, taking accurate notes, asking questions, probing, analyzing, developing hypotheses, testing, and drawing conclusions from data. Rigorous attention is given to preparation for higher education so that every student if it is his or her ultimate goal, will be prepared for college after graduation.
We think of all of our students as college-bound students that plan on majoring in Science. Our intent is to assure that each and every student is 100% prepared for college when they leave our school.
