Embracing Global Languages and Cultures

The study of world languages is so much more than just memorizing vocabulary and conjugating verbs. Students are introduced to the cultures related to their language choices, immersing themselves in the history, government, lifestyles, religious tendencies and cuisines. Numerous activities are held throughout the school year by experienced and dedicated instructors who bring the language to life for students. All students are encouraged to take four years of World language, regardless of the chosen career path. The goal of the World Language Department is to equip the students with the necessary skills to communicate with people of other lands and to foster understanding and acceptance of different people and cultures.
