Investing in a Faith-Focused Education
Choosing Central Catholic High School is an investment in a Christ-centered education that promotes academic excellence, spiritual growth, and personal development. Our tuition structure reflects the value of a supportive and mission-driven environment where students are prepared for success in college and beyond. We offer flexible payment plans and a variety of scholarship opportunities to help families manage the cost of education.
To make a CCHS education more accessible, we also provide need-based financial assistance through both school and diocesan programs. The Diocesan Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) is available to Catholic families who apply through the FACTS system, making the process simple and affordable. Our goal is to work with each family individually to ensure finances are not a barrier to receiving a high-quality, faith-based education.

Application Deadlines
Phase I Deadline
To receive notification in late May, applications (including all required documentation and payment of the fee) must be received by FACTS by April 30 of the previous year. Phase I is intended for families with children currently enrolled or already accepted for the 2025–2026 school year in any Catholic school in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
Phase II Deadline
To receive notification in early September, all applications for 2025–2026 (including all required documentation and payment of the fee) must be received by FACTS no later than July 14. Phase II is intended for all Catholic and non-Catholic families new to the school or those who have had a life-changing event (i.e., birth, death, loss of job, major illness). If an application was submitted during Phase I, please contact the school. Do not submit a second application.
Phase III Deadline
To receive notification in September, applications (including all required documentation and payment) must be received by FACTS no later than August 23. Phase III is intended for Catholic and non-Catholic families new to the school or those who have had a life-changing event.
Key Information Before You Apply
No assistance will be available from the Diocese or any school unless:
An application is completed in full (all questions answered) and submitted
All required documentation is provided
The $25 application fee is paid by the deadline
Only one application per family should be submitted per school year. If you made an error or had a life event change, do not submit a second application. Contact the principal and your application can be updated by FACTS.
Scholarships
Tuition assistance is available through both school and diocesan programs, with awards determined by the Admissions and Financial Aid Committee.
Each year, CCHS awards over $275,000 in direct aid, helping nearly half of our students. An additional $150,000 is provided through diocesan support. With financial need on the rise, we work hard to ensure that cost is never a barrier for families who value a Catholic education.
WV Hope Scholarship – Making a Central Education Possible
Families exploring private school options may be eligible for the West Virginia Hope Scholarship, which offers nearly $5,000 in tuition support per student. This program helps make a Central Catholic High School education more accessible for families across the state. Our team is here to walk you through the application process and answer any questions along the way.
