Career Advising at Central Catholic High School helps students explore their strengths, interests, and future possibilities. Through personalized advising, career exploration tools, guest speakers, and real-world learning opportunities, we empower students to discover their passions and plan for meaningful futures. Whether entering college, technical programs, military service, or the workforce, every student receives the support they need to take confident next steps after graduation.
Career Exploration Opportunities
Students are encouraged to explore a wide range of career paths through interest surveys, career inventories, and special programs. Guest speakers, career fairs, and shadowing opportunities expose students to real-world professions and help them connect their talents and interests to future possibilities.
Workshops and Counseling Sessions
CCHS offers personalized career counseling along with small-group workshops focused on career readiness skills. Students learn how to build resumes, prepare for interviews, set professional goals, and understand the expectations of the workplace, giving them an advantage as they plan for life after high school.
College and Career Pathway Support
Career Advising at CCHS includes support for every student’s unique goals, whether they plan to attend college, technical school, join the military, or enter the workforce. Our counselors work closely with students to help them understand all available options and take confident, informed next steps toward their future.
