Overview

GUIDANCE & COLLEGE PLACEMENT SERVICES OVERVIEW

The Central Catholic High School Guidance and College Placement Office provides a comprehensive guidance and counseling program for students in grades 9-12; consults with teachers, staff, parents, and administration to enhance their effectiveness in helping students’ educational, career, personal and social development; and provides support to other high school educational programs.

Central Catholic’s Guidance and College Placement Office provides all students —  freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors — with personalized services that include academic advising, college planning, standardized testing administration, class scheduling, admission and scholarship application processing and transcript services, recommendation letters, special student program opportunities and counseling. We offer a variety of informative sessions throughout the year to assist families in the college planning and financial aid processes.

Located on the first floor, the Guidance & College Placement Office is open daily from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and is staffed by:

The CCHS Profile is a snapshot of the school.  It assists college and university admission offices by providing pertinent information in regard to the grading scale, curriculum offerings, average test scores, etc.

The Release and Transcript Request Form must be completed and submitted to the Guidance and College Placement Office to have academic records/transcripts forwarded on behalf of a student.
